Job Description

The Health and Safety Deputy Role is a critical member of Nielsen’s Global Real Estate Team. The Health and Safety Deputy will be working onsite in our Assago, Italy Office reporting into the Regional Facilities Leader. The role will require understanding the Health and Safety requirements to be compliant in Italy. The Health and Safety Deputy will need to have good communication skills as they will be working with BU leaders, third party vendors and other leaders from organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring new hirings for the NMSI NMI companies
  • Acquisition and verification of the training certificates
  • Activation mandatory training (general and specific courses - Romeo Safety Elearning modules) Monitoring of mandatory training / assistance to trainee. Communication to the new hiring / interns of the activation of the mandatory courses
  • Schedule of the 1st medical examination and Monitoring of mandatory medical visits calendars and deadlines
  • Convocation to a medical examination, (SW Zucchetti), according to Medical Visits Calendar
  • Management maternity medical visits / deadlines. Management of mandatory medical visits after long-lasting sick-leave
  • Keep updated the Employee's sanitary plan.
  • Keep medical certificates issued by the company doctor.
  • Communicate with team leaders if employees has any medical limitations to their working activities.
  • Notify new hirings / resignations to company doctor.
  • Share risk assessment documents with the company doctor.
  • Provide information to the company doctor to issue a sanitary annual report.
  • Monitoring of the Monthly information flow file from HR (new hirings, sick-leave, employee leaving the company, job role variations, maternity, injuries)
  • Uploading new hirings employment, training and medical visits on the H&S software
  • Scheduling drug tests / laboratory examinations as Annual drug test for PITs drivers
  • Vendor management which includes : creation of POs, onboarding of vendor, payments, etc.
  • Issue Annual PSCL report
  • Waste disposal record & RENTRI governative report
  • Health and Safety documentation and keeping stakeholders informed.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in managing Health and Safety requirements
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
  • Proven ability to pace and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Knowledge in Google Applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships as you will be working closely with HR and our Antea Group Third Party Vendor.
  • Detail oriented - keeping projects, timelines on track to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
