Guest Relations Manager - NH Collection Milano President

Role Overview

The Guest Relations Manager is responsible for delivering upscale, professional, and high-class guest service experiences before, during, and after their stay. This involves effective communication with guests, maintaining high service standards, managing feedback, and collaborating across departments to uphold brand standards through diligent implementation, ongoing support, and constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Serve as the primary contact for guest inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Resolve issues promptly and facilitate additional services such as transportation and reservations.
  • Respond to guest reviews and comments, working with department heads to improve service.
  • Build positive relationships with guests, recognizing VIPs and repeat visitors, and coordinating special amenities.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements based on insights.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles for personalized service.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling services and communicate their value effectively.
  • Stay informed about hotel services and local contacts to provide accurate information.
  • Assist in PR event preparations and manage loyalty programs for regular guests.

Qualifications

  • Education in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience in a senior guest/customer service role, ideally within hospitality.
  • International experience is highly valued.
  • Fluent in the local language and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Leadership ability to motivate a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
