Description:

Purpose

Follows up on the execution of maintenance activities by controlling the availability of necessary resources and ensuring that internal/external services comply with time, cost, quality, and safety standards. Ensures the availability of necessary materials and spare parts, guaranteeing adequate stock levels. Prepares the budget for spare parts to be used. Analyzes machine performance to identify causes of defects and propose corrective and preventive actions; looks for improvement opportunities and maximizes its useful life.

Main Responsibilities

• Participates in defining the maintenance planning implementation in their area. Follows up on the execution of maintenance activities by controlling the availability of necessary resources and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Ensures the availability of necessary materials and spare parts required for projects.
• Participates in the homologation process of new supplies and services.
• Prepares the spare parts budget by performing stock counts and analyzing cost behavior and reduction options.
• Analyzes machine performance to identify defect causes and propose corrective and preventive actions; generates improvement opportunities and maximizes machine lifespan.
• Manages and updates the maintenance information system, keeping records related to their area.
• Participates in maintenance programs to minimize/optimize energy use.
• Defines procedures and promotes maintenance programs to minimize/optimize energy use, and encourages general improvement actions to reduce resource consumption and waste. Complies with HSE procedures, reports incidents or observations, performs inspections, and participates in investigations. Implements preventive/corrective actions, updates risk analysis, and environmental assessments.
• Protects facilities, equipment, and other physical resources from damage, theft, or misuse.
