We’re looking for a data-driven, creative, and organized Growth Marketing / Digital Marketing Coordinator to lead and optimize digital growth initiatives for a high-profile basketball property in Italy. This role blends hands-on performance marketing execution with strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.

You’llbe responsible for managing the full performance marketing funnel — from awareness to retention — using a range of digital channels and tactics. You'll work closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver measurable growth, track KPIs, and optimize audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns (search, social, display, retargeting).
  • Lead SEO strategy and implementation to drive organic traffic and search visibility.
  • Develop and maintain a CRM / email marketing strategy to boost user engagement and retention.
  • Build and manage a performance marketing calendar aligned with broader campaign and business goals.
  • Manage and track the performance marketing budget, ensuring efficiency and ROI.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, creative teams, and internal departments to align campaign messaging, assets, and goals.
  • Create regular reports and dashboards to track performance against KPIs, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Stay up-to-date on audience trends, industry best practices, and platform changes, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct A / B tests and experimentation to optimize user journeys and conversion rates.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a growth marketing or digital marketing role, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or media industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other relevant platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Consoleec).
  • Experience with CRM platforms and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Braze, HubSpot etc).
  • Proven ability to analyze data, derive insights, and adjust strategies to maximize performance.
  • Familiarity with audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and user retention strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience maintaining marketing calendars and budgets.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and external stakeholders.
  • Agency experience is a plus and will be considered an advantage.
