Overall Job Purpose

We are seeking a strong and enthusiastic GROUP SALES COORDINATOR based in Rome to join our growing team.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Fluent in both Italian and English
  • Affinity with a more refined lifestyle
  • High level proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Candidate profile

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role in a comparable property with sizeable rooms and meeting spaces.
  • This role offers an opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in hotel sales & marketing. Responsibilities are primarily administrative, with exposure to reactive and proactive sales, understanding all market sectors (MICE, corporate, leisure), and supporting data analysis, lead qualification, and sales events.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work on behalf of guests
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Principal Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and provide full administrative and operational support to the sales team.
  • Conduct sales research, collect data, and prepare reports and documents.
  • Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for sales inquiries, liaising with hotel departments and maintaining sales databases.
  • Assist in qualifying leads, sending sales proposals, and working closely with the sales team on inquiries.
  • Support the preparation and follow-up of sales trips, client events, and workshops.
  • Proactively seek new sales opportunities and cross-sell.
  • Conduct client site inspections.
  • Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Assist with updating sales materials and customer databases.
  • Create and manage profiles on the property management system.
  • Track inquiries and revenues according to established processes.

Providing Exceptional Customer Service

Support the company’s service and relationship strategies to drive customer loyalty and deliver service excellence. Interact with guests for feedback, set a positive example, and ensure service standards are met.
