Bolton Group in Genova seeks a Group Environmental Footprint Manager to drive emissions reductions and sustainability integration across strategies and operations. This data-driven, impact-focused role requires collaboration with business units to design roadmaps and policies while pursuing continuous improvement and innovation.

You will quantify footprints (carbon, water, energy, waste), lead disclosures (CDP, ESRS, SBTi) and coordinate audits and risk assessments, shaping decarbonization

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Engineering and 4–5 years of climate-related project experience.
• Strong knowledge of environmental science, sustainability frameworks, and LCA/PCF.
• Familiarity with GHG Protocol, Scope 1-3, ISO 14001, and decarbonization roadmaps.
• Proven data analysis skills and experience with sustainability reporting platforms.
• Fluency in Italian and English; cross-functional collaboration ability.

In this role you will drive the group's environmental footprint reduction and sustainability integration across strategies and operations. You will quantify footprints, shape climate and water resilience initiatives, and lead reporting and disclosure efforts. You’ll collaborate with business units to design policies and roadmaps, while chasing continuous improvement and innovation. This is a data-driven, impact-focused position at a global FMCG group with a strong commitment to decarbonization and responsible sourcing.

• Quantify and analyze environmental footprints (carbon, water, energy, waste) across the group
• Design and implement environmental strategies and policies with Business Units (climate transition, water stewardship, sustainable sourcing)
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders and support sustainability disclosures (CDP, ESRS) and Science Based Targets
• Coordinate environmental audits and risk assessments (GHG Protocol, TCFD, ISSB)
• Explore and promote new technologies or practices to reduce emissions and enhance resilience
• Engage with corporate stakeholders on climate, water, and circularity initiatives
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering
• 4-5 years of climate-related project experience in large multinational companies
• Strong knowledge of environmental science, sustainability frameworks, and LCA/PCF; familiarity with Scope 1-3 and ISO 14001, ETS, GHG Protocol, SBTi
• Familiarity with Carbon Credits and decarbonization roadmaps
• Proficiency in data analysis, sustainability reporting platforms, and supplier engagement tools (ECOVADIS)
