Thales Alenia Space in Italy seeks a Telecommunication E2E System/Ground Tools System Engineer/Architect to design and analyze Ground Segment subsystems across the project life cycle, from specification to verification. You will focus on E2E systems, ground tools for mission planning, interference detection, and performance assessment.

The role requires a Master’s degree in engineering or physics, 2–4 years RF engineering experience, proficiency in STK, MATLAB, and Simulink, and excellent

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Physics with telecom/RF focus.
• Experience in Ground System design and Mission Planning.
• 2–4 years RF engineering experience is valuable.
• Knowledge of payload architecture, link budget, and testing.

Mansioni

• Provide specialized engineering in the frame of E2E systems and Ground Segment subsystems and components across the project life cycle.
• Define SW requirements and validate SW products.
• Perform System/Subystem Performance Analyses (Link Budget, BER, Phase Noise, etc.).
• Collaborate with international teams and be willing to work at customer premises in Vigna di Valle for up to 50% of yearly days.
