A leading regional aviation company, SkyAlps, is seeking a Ground Operations Support Officer in Bolzano. The ideal candidate will coordinate operations at airports, assist in passenger management, and work closely with the Operations Control Center to ensure smooth operations. This role requires shift availability and strong teamwork skills alongside an understanding of airport ground handling processes.

Descrizione del lavoro

For SkyAlps, a leading regional aviation company, we are looking for a Ground Operations Support Officer (m/f/d).

This role will be responsible for coordinating and supporting ground operational activities at network airports, with a particular focus on passenger assistance, especially in cases of operational irregularities or baggage handling, as well as the management of ad-hoc charter flights.

The objective is to ensure the maximum fluidity of SkyAlps' ground operations, providing the necessary support in managing operational events.

The GOS works in close collaboration with the Operations Control Center and is an integral part of interdepartmental coordination.

Ideal Profile:

  • Experience in airport ground handling, knowledge of DCS and PSS
  • Basic IT skills, knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English (other languages are a plus)
  • Aptitude for managing non-repetitive situations, with variable workloads related to potential operational irregularities
  • Strong orientation towards teamwork, problem-solving, continuous learning, and independent work

Work Oganization:

The GOS's activity is structured to cover almost the entire 24-hour period, 7 days a week (depending on the season). Therefore, availability to work in shifts, including night shifts, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, is required.

The type of contract and remuneration will be defined based on the profile and experience of the selected candidate.
