A global energy group is seeking a Grid Connection Manager to oversee TERNA connection processes and perform due diligence for renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 5 years of related experience, and demonstrate strong negotiation and teamwork skills. This role offers a hybrid work model and requires fluency in Italian and English.

What you will do :

  • Manage and monitor TERNA connection processes.
  • Perform technical due diligence and risk assessments on grid connection schemes and offers received from TSO.
  • Evaluate and assess grid connection options, considering technical, financial, and regulatory factors.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to ensure seamless integration of grid connection activities within project timelines.
  • Monitor and track grid connection progress, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective grid connections.
  • Stay informed of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal processes and documentation related to grid connections.
  • Represent the company before TSO, DSO, sector organizations, Public Administration, and elected officials to defend the company's strategic interests.

  • Languages: Italian and fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
