A leading renewable energy company in Milan is looking for a Grid Connection Manager to oversee connection processes within renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and is fluent in Italian and English. What you will do :

  • Manage and monitor TERNA connection processes.
  • Carry out technical due diligence and risk assessment on grid connection schemes / grid offers received from TSO.
  • Evaluate and assess grid connection options, considering technical, financial, and regulatory factors.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of grid connection activities within project timelines.
  • Monitor and track grid connection progress, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective grid connections.
  • Stay informed of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal processes and documentation related to grid connections.
  • Represent the Company before TSO, DSO, and other organizations in the sector, and before Public Administration and Elected officials, aiming to defend the Company’s strategic interests.

What are we looking for :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in grid connection management for renewable energy projects.
  • Languages: Italian and fluent English. Spanish is a plus.
  • Availability to travel up to 25%.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork.
