Grid Civil Engineer

We're currently looking for a Grid Civil Engineer to join our M Renewables team in Italy in our Milan offices. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the correct design and execution of the interconnection infrastructures (cable routes, building and substation) of the renewable projects of the Company.

Your role will encompass:

1. Analyse the civil and structural documents for the grid connection applications and provide technical advice to Project Managers and Project Developers.
2. Support in the preparation of tender processes for the civil and structural activities of the grid connection works.
3. Collaborate with the internal teams involved in project assessment, due diligence, and implementation.
4. Review 3rd party engineering layout of the grid interconnection infrastructures.
5. Monitor onsite construction processes, supporting the teams onsite for the resolution of problems arising during the construction.
6. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and techniques to optimize grid connection solutions.

What you bring to the role:

1. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is a plus.
2. Previous working experience as a Civil & Structural Engineer in similar fields.
3. Knowledge of construction methods and regulations of grid interconnection infrastructures is a plus.
4. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
5. High attention to details.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Italian and English knowledge.
