We are offering a position for a Creative Graphic Design Manager, part of the Marketing & Engagement team, to join our creative office in Milan, Turati. The role involves creating fashion & retail graphics through compelling design and strategic multi-channel & social media marketing to drive consumer demand. The manager will oversee graphic design needs and facilitate marketing campaigns from start to finish, in collaboration with the Creative Director and fashion design team. The goal is to achieve quarterly and yearly departmental and company objectives, increasing brand awareness and attracting new customers.

Position Brief Details

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging, on-brand graphics for various online and offline media. You will work with a young, dynamic creative team in Milan, managing the entire process from defining requirements to visualizing and creating graphics, including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos. Your designs should capture attention and communicate the right message, requiring a creative flair and strong ability to translate requirements into visuals. Effective communication and teamwork are essential.

The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.

Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
• Use appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce final designs
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Liaise with the Fashion Designer VM Team to meet deadlines
• Refine images, fonts, and layouts using graphic design software
• Stay updated with fashion & retail industry developments and trends

Requirements & Skills

• Proven graphic design experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Proficiency with design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and CSS
• Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus
• Availability to travel

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in fashion & retail
• Knowledge of JavaScript and content management systems like WordPress
• Photography skills and proficiency with photo editing software
• Desire for ongoing skill development through education and training
