We offer you a unique opportunity to be part of our RME team where you can put into practice all the knowledge you have acquired with your studies and continue learning as part of a team of first-class professionals. During your journey, you will follow a training itinerary to develop technical skills and competences. You will learn planning, prioritization, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
We support your development by providing both technical and interpersonal training. A mentor from the Automation Engineer Team (AE Team) will support your progress. You will also participate in over 300 hours of theoretical and practical training, covering subjects like electric and electronic systems (e.g., EPLAN, panel wiring and assembly), automation and robotics (e.g., PLC programming, Python, SQL basics), project management, and communication. After completing the program, you will be qualified for an Automation Engineer position within our maintenance teams.
During the apprenticeship, you will work on-site with the AE Team, responsible for controls systems and sensors within the building, including:
• Monitoring, fault finding, and repairing systems to ensure high equipment availability.
• Training technicians in control systems fault finding.
• Collaborating within the EU Controls network to monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and provide troubleshooting and data visualization.
• Participating in or leading continuous improvement projects within the EU Controls network.
• Working with IT, EU Controls Engineering, and Operations Engineering to document systems and maintain backup libraries.
Please note: This role involves working in non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends. Remote work is not available. Locations include Piedmont, Lombardy, and Veneto regions.
