Job Description:

We offer you a unique opportunity to be part of our RME team where you can put into practice all the knowledge you have acquired with your studies and continue learning as part of a team of first-class professionals. During your journey, you will follow a training itinerary to develop technical skills and competences, including solving technical problems, planning, prioritization, and developing analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

We enable you to develop both technical and interpersonal skills. A mentor from the Automation Engineer Team (AE Team) will support your progress. You will participate in over 300 hours of theoretical and practical training with external providers on topics such as electric and electronic systems (e.g., EPLAN, panel wiring), automation and robotics (e.g., PLC programming, Python, SQL), project management, and communication. After completing the program, you will be qualified for an Automation Engineer position in our maintenance teams.

During the apprenticeship, you will work on-site with the AE Team, responsible for controls systems and sensors within the building, including:

  • Monitoring, fault finding, and repairing systems to ensure high equipment availability.
  • Training technicians in control systems fault finding to enhance site knowledge.
  • Collaborating within the EU Controls network to monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and provide visualization and data troubleshooting.
  • Participating or leading continuous improvement projects within the EU Controls network.
  • Working with IT and engineering teams to document systems and maintain backup libraries.

This role involves working in non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends. Remote work is not available. The positions are located in Piedmont, Lombardy, and Veneto regions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • You are between 18 and 29 years old.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or will obtain it before the program starts.
  • You speak Italian fluently and have good communication skills.
  • You can communicate in English at Level B2 or higher.
  • You can understand and follow technical instructions.
  • You are passionate about automation and engineering.
  • You are motivated, practical, and eager to learn.
  • You have basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • You are proactive and open to acquiring new skills.
  • You enjoy teamwork and building relationships.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
  • Project management experience.
  • Software development experience.
