Job Description

DESCRIPTION

We offer a unique opportunity to join our RME team, where you can apply your academic knowledge and continue learning alongside top professionals. The program includes technical training, skill development in planning, prioritization, analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork. A mentor from the Automation Engineer Team (AE Team) will support your growth. The training comprises over 300 hours of theoretical and practical sessions with external providers, covering electrical and electronic systems (e.g., EPLAN, panel wiring), automation, robotics (e.g., PLC programming, Python, SQL), project management, and communication. Upon completion, you will be qualified for an Automation Engineer role within our maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work hands-on to monitor, fault find, and repair control systems and sensors to ensure high equipment availability.
  • Train technicians on control system fault finding to enhance site knowledge.
  • Collaborate within the EU Controls network to monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics, troubleshooting, and data visualization.
  • Participate in or lead continuous improvement projects within the EU Controls network.
  • Coordinate with IT, Controls Engineering, and Operations Engineering to maintain documentation and backup libraries.

Note: The role involves working in non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends.

Basic Qualifications
  • Age between 18 and 29 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or expected completion before program start.
  • Fluent in Italian with good communication skills.
  • Proficient in English at Level B2 or higher.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical instructions.
  • Passion for Automation and Engineering.
  • Motivated, practical, and eager to learn.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proactive and open to acquiring new skills.
  • Team-oriented and good at building relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
  • Project management experience.
  • Software development experience.
