Job summary

AFRY Management Consulting is hiring an entry-level Business Analyst in Lombardy, Italy. You will join a team delivering energy and sustainability engagements, designing analyses to support evidence-based recommendations, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

The role requires an MSc in Engineering or Economics with distinction, strong problem-solving, and fluency in Italian and English. Programming skills are a bonus; international experience is valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

As Business Analyst in the team, you will:

• work as part of a team across a wide range of energy and sustainability engagements
• design and execute analysis to support the development of evidence-based recommendations
• ensure deliverables produced and advice provided (written or verbal) are of high-quality
• attend client meetings and develop close working relationships with clients across the sector
• support senior colleagues in pitch and proposal preparation as well as identification of new project opportunities
• Maintain a good technical understanding of the sector and contribute to the growth of the team

Your profile

We are looking for candidates that:

• are highly motivated and passionate about the energy transition and sustainability
• are educated to MSc level in a quantitative field such as Engineering or Economics with distinction (≥ 105/110 or equivalent)
• possess excellent problem-solving skills and are able to develop compelling solutions to complex problems
• demonstrate commercial awareness and business acumen
• have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide range of audiences
• are proficient in both Italian and English;
• work/study experience abroad and programming skills are a bonus
