A leading organization seeks a Government Partnerships Consultant focused on Social Protection to strengthen partnerships and drive funding strategies at the global level. WFP seeks to fill the position of Government Partnerships Officer for Social Protection at its headquarters in Rome, Italy.
WFP relies on voluntary contributions for funding its projects. Building relationships with public sector donors is crucial for supporting projects that impact millions globally. Fundraising for social protection from development partners requires a targeted, cross-departmental strategy and specific expertise in social protection financing.
Education: Advanced degree in International Development, Economics, International Relations, Social Protection, or related fields.
Experience: At least eight years in partnership roles, with expertise in social protection policy, financing, and programming.
Fluent in English (Level C); knowledge of Spanish, French, or Arabic is an asset.
