Job Description:

About the Role: We are seeking a GORE Cover Compost Field Sales Associate (f/m/d) to join our Gore Cover Compost (GCC) team. In this role, you will lead business development activities for EMEA, a key market with a long history in organic recovery. You will promote circular economies and drive sustainability by producing compost from recovered organics using the GORE Cover. The role also involves developing and growing long-term partnerships by representing Gore in a rapidly evolving regenerative agriculture ecosystem.

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from your home office in most locations within Europe.

Responsibilities:
  1. Define and execute strategic account plans for EMEA supporting regional and global growth initiatives in collaboration with the business team.
  2. Identify evolving customer technical needs in EMEA and collaborate with product, operations, and partner teams to provide comprehensive composting solutions.
  3. Advance composting sales opportunities using appropriate methodologies; demonstrate clear customer value throughout the sales process.
  4. Develop and implement territory/account plans aligned with business objectives, supported by the core GCC team.
  5. Build Subject Matter Expertise in organics processing techniques for various feedstocks and applications of GORE Cover.
  6. Learn and teach application engineering principles related to composting, system sizing, site planning, and equipment.
  7. Act as the primary contact for stakeholder education and influence with regulators, engineering firms, industry groups, and end users.
  8. Participate actively in industry trade groups through memberships, committees, or board roles.
  9. Provide market and industry insights to the business team.
  10. Develop and participate in workshops, write articles, abstracts, and deliver presentations, including authorized supplier training.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business with proven experience in customer development and execution.
  2. At least 5 years of B2B sales, strategic account management, or customer relationship experience with a record of influence and results.
  3. Ability to lead teams outside of your home region (Europe or Asia), including setting investment criteria and aligning goals.
  4. Strong relationship-building skills with end customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
  5. Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  6. Financial understanding of business drivers.
  7. Data-driven decision-making skills, capable of acting with incomplete data.
  8. Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in ambiguous environments.
  9. Strong planning and project management skills.
  10. Valid driving license.
Desired Qualifications:
  1. Experience with compost or sustainability, personally or professionally.
  2. Long-term commitment to the business, demonstrating leadership and vision.
  3. Ability to work at landfills, transfer stations, wastewater plants, and similar facilities.
