Job Description Summary
At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production, and maintenance of components and systems for both civil and military aviation.

Role Overview
As Lean Transformation Lead, you will drive improvement initiatives at the enterprise level, working closely with plant and function leaders to achieve KPIs. You will need to adapt strategies to business priorities, identify opportunities, and plan effectively for the future.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Coaching and Leadership Development: Act as a coach, develop training plans, and promote community within the organization.
  • Lean Standard Work and Kaizen Approach: Deploy lean standards, define roadmaps, and promote best practices.
  • Drive Improvement and Main Achievements: Lead initiatives to meet KPI objectives, solve complex problems, and manage projects to enhance lean culture.
  • Share and Standardize Know-how: Communicate effectively across all levels, foster collaboration, and promote standardized processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Engineering Master's Degree with experience in manufacturing or engineering roles.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Proven lean experience and ability to design lean systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; work visa required; willingness to travel.
Desired Characteristics
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and change management skills.
  • Resilience and project management experience.
