Global Strategic Marketing Director (m/w/d)

Join LivaNova to lead marketing strategy for CP portfolio, overseeing product lines, launches, market analysis, and global team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute global marketing strategy for disposable and non-HLM product lines.
  • Support creation and communication of CP strategic plan and portfolio roadmap in collaboration with R&D.
  • Drive brand positioning and messaging in the perfusion space with the Communications manager.
  • Ensure early marketing assessment for innovation opportunities and deliverables per the innovation framework.
  • Accountable for successful launch of new products, managing global go‑to‑market, positioning, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional and regional teams on product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Identify market research needs, define projects, and guide product development and marketing strategies.
  • Drive competitive monitoring, response messaging, and objection handling to support the global sales force.
  • Own and maintain the global marketing data framework to provide relevant market data for marketing deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders globally.
  • Participate in the development of targeted marketing programs to engage and educate customers, creating brand loyalty and advocacy.
  • Collaborate closely with regional marketing teams to ensure consistency in messaging and execution of global marketing initiatives and to understand customers’ and field teams’ needs.
  • Work cross‑functionally with R&D, regulatory, OPS, and Quality teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Build and manage a high‑performing marketing team based on the LivaNova MVP.
  • Ensure high level of market, customer, and product knowledge within the team.
  • Develop and manage a marketing budget, monitor key performance indicators, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Marketing/Sales within MedTech or pharmaceuticals.
  • Master’s degree in marketing, business administration, health science is desired.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and brand building.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing marketing or business teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to manage by influence and work as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving attitude with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the organization in a demanding and action‑oriented environment.
  • Strategic and innovative mindset, demonstrated ability to design marketing strategy, plans, and lead through execution.
  • Proven successful project management leadership skills.
  • Results oriented.
Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel up to 50%.
