Role Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as a Global Servo Motor Product & Business Development Manager -CTD Range

This is a global based role, with no geographical restrictions for applications

The Global Servo Motor Product Manager will be responsible for leading strategic growth and lifecycle management across servo motor portfolios.

The role will be responsible for product strategy formulation, market analysis, pricing management, and profitability optimization. With the involvement of coordinating global product launches, driving channel development and engaging deeply with customers to deliver tailored value propositions.

Acting as a central liaison among R&D, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and business development teams, the Product Manager will ensure clear cross-functional collaboration, comprehensive training, continuous performance monitoring, and effective stakeholder management, fostering a collaborative and high-performing product management team.

This role is pivotal to drive targeted growth for the CTD motor range and will focus on identifying new market opportunities, setting, and achieving global sales targets, expanding channel reach, and delivering tailored value propositions that accelerate CTD adoption.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Travel Requirements:

Frequent international travel will be required, including industry events, conferences, customer engagements, and internal meetings

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in Servo Motors, and Servo Drives or manufacturing automation in the capacity of sales and/or marketing.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling global sales channels, with demonstrable success hitting revenue targets.
  • Strong technical aptitude & financial acumen
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, managing cross-functional teams and complex projects

Employees must be able to:

  • Understand emergency instruction
  • Read safety signage and hazard warnings
  • Communicate effectively in specific situations (e.g. fire evacuation)
