Job summary

Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A. — Sr. Clinical Research Scientist, Global Rare Diseases — Temporary — Parma, Europe. The role supports the GRD Clinical Development program, contributing to scientific aspects, safety assessments, and regulatory document validation.

The candidate will collaborate with Clinical Program Leader and physicians, participate in translational activities, and help identify biomarkers and emerging technologies for rare diseases. Hybrid or remote work may be considered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Scientific researcher in Academic or non-Academic organization.
• Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Biotechnology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy and related fields.
• Customer orientation.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Quality orientation.

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical team in relevant scientific aspects of the assigned area within the global clinical development program.
• Contributes to the risk/benefit assessment of the ongoing clinical trials.
• Contributes to the production of the Common Technical Document, in terms of validation of scientific documents relevant to the assigned clinical study (e.g. study protocol, investigator’s brochure, clinical study reports) and may represent the company in front of partners and institutions.
• Works in collaboration with the Clinical Program Leader, Clinical Research Physicians and other relevant roles and ensures scientific validity of the assigned activities and projects.
• Will contribute in the translational aspect of the clinical development programs, as well as working in the identification of disease specific biomarkers, emerging technology trend and in the development and validation of the analytical aspects.
