The role requires seven years of related experience, strong financial and communication skills, and the ability to influence diverse teams across sales, product, marketing and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government or related field with at least seven years of experience in business strategy or related role.
• Strong business acumen, financial understanding and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of government or public sector markets, including procurement processes and customer buying behaviour.
• Experience connecting customer insights, market data and portfolio capabilities to support executive reviews and planning.
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders across sales, product, marketing, finance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse government technology trends, customer priorities, policy developments and procurement changes to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Define strategic pillars and geography-specific plans aligned with Lenovo’s portfolio and market conditions.
• Maintain a rolling strategic roadmap linking quarterly priorities with 90-, 180- and 360-day opportunities.
• Build relationships with government customers, policymakers, channel partners and internal sales leaders to gather market insights and support growth.
• Identify scalable government use cases across digital transformation, AI, security, edge, smart cities and infrastructure modernization.
• Combine internal performance data with external market intelligence to prioritise opportunities and establish business targets and KPIs.
