A global engineering firm is seeking a Global Product Manager to lead the product lifecycle for its Connector portfolio. Responsibilities include defining product strategies, engaging with customers, and supporting sales teams. The ideal candidate has a master's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering and 5-7 years in relevant fields, with advanced English skills. This role requires up to 30% travel across Europe.

Summary : The Global Product Manager plays a crucial role in managing and evolving Cavotec’s Connector portfolio. This role ensures product success by : Leading product lifecycle management Understanding customer needs and market trends Driving product development and improvements Supporting sales and marketing teams in commercial activities
Responsibilities : Product Strategy & Lifecycle Define and manage product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Prioritize and coordinate product development efforts with engineering teams. Monitor product performance metrics, including quality, profitability, and turnover. Market & Customer Insights Engage with engineers, specifiers, and OEMs to understand application needs. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to guide product positioning. Translate customer feedback into actionable product enhancements. Sales & Business Enablement Create Sales collateral and promotional content Train sales team and channels on product knowledge and applications. Assist in customer engagement, tender preparation, and product presentations. Represent the product portfolio at trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
Requirements : MSc in Electrical or Industrial Engineering ( or equivalent Experience in engineered electrotechnical or electromechanical equipment (5-7 years preferred). 3+ years in product management, product marketing, or business development. Ability to define, refine, and improve product portfolios based on customer and market insights. Strong ability to present clear, impactful information to stakeholders. Fluent in English (Italian is a plus). Collaborative mindset with a proactive and resourceful approach.
Travel Requirement Up to
30% travel , primarily within
Europe , with potential global engagements.
