Competenze

Job Description:

We are looking for a Global Primary Transportation Expert (Fixed Term) to join our team.

The Global Primary Transportation Expert supports the Global Supply Chain and other Dompé departments in the management of primary transport on national and international territory. He/She also ensures continuous improvement of processes and searches for new possibilities for their simplification and optimization. Finally, He/She pays particular attention to load optimization issues from both an economic and environmental perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the definition/update/introduction of optimal routes to minimize costs and delivery times;
• Organizes the assignment of loads to vehicles based on capacity and product characteristics, ensuring compliance with the required delivery times;
• Guarantees coordination with logistics service providers (couriers, secondary distribution HUB);
• Supports the management of the courier concerning the contractual monitoring and renewal with particular focus on SLA and KPI;
• Guarantees the monitoring of the shipment and compliance with deliveries at Dompé distribution HUBs. He/She also gives support during any transportation problems and communicates with internal/external customers and suppliers on the status of shipments;
• Maintains traceability of all transports performed and requested, cross-referencing data between transports performed and transporter reports. Develops analysis of transport costs and identifies possible areas for improvement. Prepares and maintains monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review;
• Manages customer requests and resolves issues;
• Evaluates new technologies to improve transport efficiency (e.g., telematics systems).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Management Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or related discipline;

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SAP (SAP S/4HANA - Production Planning and Material Management modules);
• Strong capability in business data analysis;
• Knowledge of key Supply Chain processes (e.g., Demand Management, Supply Planning and Sales & Operations Planning, Order Management, Delivery Management, Inventory Management, Customer Care Management, Management of finished products suppliers, etc.);
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations with special regard to GDP;
• Languages: Italian and English (fluent);

Preferred Skills:

• Preferable pharmaceutical experience (at least 3-5 years).
