Overview

Global Pricing Lead

Reports to: Global Head of Pricing

Opportunity

The Global Pricing Lead is responsible for developing and executing the global pricing strategy to support access and reimbursement for Menarini Group products. The focus is on delivering sustainable pricing strategies across key markets and regions.

The role involves supporting a growing organization by shaping global pricing strategies. A deep understanding of access routes, HEOR, reimbursement mechanisms, as well as scientific, technical, regulatory, intellectual property, and commercial considerations, is essential to maximize the impact of pricing strategies.

This strategic role requires collaboration with senior management and various internal stakeholders across Menarini Group, from local affiliates to headquarters. The ideal candidate should possess a strong strategic mindset, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, and experience in creating and implementing global and regional pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global and regional pricing strategies for Oncology and Primary Care portfolios, coordinating with launch activities.
  • Lead pricing research with external vendors to inform strategies and local adaptations.
  • Support HEOR economic modeling by providing pricing inputs for BI, CMA, CEA, and CUAs.
  • Communicate and roll out launch price strategies and manage post-launch pricing evolution.
  • Contribute to strategic Market Access and HEOR discussions.
  • Anticipate industry pricing trends, identify market opportunities, and drive innovative contracting.
  • Collaborate with US, EU, and APAC Access Leads to adapt global strategies for local markets.
  • Understand pricing mechanisms in emerging markets such as Europe, AMAP, and LatAm.
  • Provide strategic price leadership and operational forecasting support across Oncology and Primary Care.
  • Support the development of Menarini’s pricing, contracting, and negotiation capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 7-9+ years of experience in global or regional (EMEA/APAC) pricing and market access within the pharmaceutical industry, especially in Oncology, Primary Care, Antibiotics, or mature products.
  • Strong understanding of current and future global pricing trends, particularly in Europe and the US.
  • Knowledge of drug development and global commercialization, with a successful track record in implementing launch price strategies in oncology.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams for product launches.
  • Expertise in international reference pricing and launch sequence optimization.
  • Design and implementation of pricing analytics tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and analytical skills.
  • Experience in developing various pricing strategies and managing market research across multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an affiliate-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to communicate and implement pricing guidance to Market Access teams and affiliates.
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset, motivated to learn and contribute.
  • Effective team player capable of working in a multicultural, matrix, and fast-paced environment.
