Descrizione del lavoro

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Network and Workplace Specialist to contribute significantly to the overall enterprise network architecture and strategy, and to set the rules for workplace management within our company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the alignment of network and workplace strategies with business goals, driving performance, security, and integration of all network infrastructures, along with appropriate management of workplaces. The future candidate will report directly to the Global Infrastructure Manager and will be part of MUVIQ's global IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall enterprise network architecture and coordinate with local IT teams at the plants.
  • Ensure effective integration of business requirements into the global SD-WAN and other critical network infrastructures.
  • Participate in transformation and harmonization projects globally as a project manager, engaging with local teams and third-party IT providers to define standards across plants for both network and workplace.
  • Manage relationships with third-party IT providers for daily operations and larger projects, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are aligned.
  • Integrate external IT requirements, best practices, standards, and policies with MUVIQ’s global network and workplaces.
  • Oversee administration, configuration, and maintenance of network platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and proper integration.
  • Define standards for workplace management (e.g., OS, patching, applications, device monitoring) and ensure their consistent implementation and maintenance.
  • Document and maintain network architecture, design, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to ensure network security compliance and workplace security policies adherence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing network platforms and workplace management.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and external partners.
  • Proven ability in developing plans for network platform customizations, integrations, and extensions.
  • Experience managing interfaces between network platforms and third parties for seamless operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders and vendors effectively.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.

Knowledge and Beneficial Experience:

  • Certifications or training in relevant network technologies and platforms.
  • Training in Fortinet technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of IBM iSeries and its network impact.
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems or tools.
  • Experience with Cisco Switches and Meraki Wi-Fi systems.
  • Familiarity with ITIL methodologies.
  • Experience managing Fortigate Firewalls.
