Descrizione del lavoro

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Network and Workplace Specialist to contribute significantly to the overall enterprise network architecture and strategy, and to set the rules for workplace management within our company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aligning network and workplace strategies with business goals, driving performance, security, and integration of all network infrastructures, along with managing workplaces effectively. The future candidate will report directly to the Global Infrastructure Manager and be part of MUVIQ's global IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the overall enterprise network architecture, ensuring alignment with local IT teams at various plants.
  2. Integrate business requirements into the global SD-WAN and other critical network infrastructures.
  3. Lead transformation and harmonization projects as a project manager, engaging with local teams and third-party IT providers to establish common standards across plants for both network and workplace management.
  4. Coordinate with third-party providers for daily operations and larger projects, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met.
  5. Ensure external IT requirements, standards, and policies are integrated with MUVIQ’s global network and workplaces.
  6. Manage the administration, configuration, and maintenance of network platforms, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and integration.
  7. Define standards for workplace management (e.g., OS, patching, applications, device monitoring) and ensure their ongoing implementation and compliance.
  8. Document and maintain network architecture, design, and configurations.
  9. Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to ensure network security and workplace security policies are followed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) managing network platforms and workplace systems.
  3. Experience working with globally distributed teams and external partners.
  4. Experience developing customizations, integrations, and extensions for network platforms.
  5. Experience managing interfaces between network platforms and third parties.
  6. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  8. Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.

Knowledge and Beneficial Experience:

  1. Certifications or training in relevant network technologies.
  2. Training in Fortinet technology.
  3. Understanding of IBM iSeries and its network impact.
  4. Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  5. Knowledge of ERP systems and tools.
  6. Experience with Cisco Switches and Meraki Wi-Fi systems.
  7. Familiarity with ITIL methodologies.
  8. Experience managing Fortigate Firewalls.
