Who we are looking for

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Mobile developer who will work remotely but be based in Italy.
We expect the successful candidate to have proven experience in mobile applications development to join our team.

At AmplifonX, we design and develop applications for a diverse customer base, including healthcare professionals, technicians, and end-users.
Our applications include hearing loss diagnostics, audiological health awareness, and daily management of hearing aids.
We aim to build applications using modern state-of-the-art development technologies and frameworks, in native and hybrid environments, emphasizing code quality and performance. Our products have a real-life impact and set industry standards.

Main responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native applications meeting user requirements and business goals.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers to translate concepts into high-quality code.
• Work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
• Maintain code quality and automation.

What you'll need

Required

• At least 5 years of experience developing native mobile applications.
• Proficiency in iOS development using Swift.
• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks like UIKit, Core Animation, Core Graphics.
• Experience with Android development using Java/Kotlin.
• Familiarity with modern Android frameworks.
• Experience with Auto Layout and responsive design.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices.
• Strong understanding of iOS concurrency techniques.
• Experience in functional, asynchronous, object-oriented, and protocol-oriented programming.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Objective-C and/or SwiftUI.
• Knowledge of design patterns and clean code principles.
• Experience with modern iOS frameworks like Combine, Swift Concurrency.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve performance and memory issues.

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
