MacGregor is seeking a Service Engineer to work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems aboard MegaYachts and other marine vessels. You will operate on ships and at client sites worldwide, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and service delivery with a strong emphasis on safety and professional conduct.

You will read technical drawings, liaise with shipyard staff and vessel crews, and compile accurate service reports.

Competenze

• Must have apprenticeship/technician diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or marine engineering.
• Experience as Service Technician/Engineer in maritime/shipping is preferred.
• Willingness to travel worldwide and stay away on assignments.

Mansioni

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and automation systems.
• Communicate professionally with shipyards, captains, engineers, project managers and vessel representatives.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Follow site safety rules and environmental requirements.
• Prepare service reports and travel/hours documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and the MacGregor service network across Europe.
