MSC Technology Italy is seeking an IT Network Specialist to join the Core Team within the IT INFRA Global Network Team. You will maintain, secure and manage enterprise-wide network infrastructure both on-prem and in the cloud, contributing to future designs.

The role requires hands-on experience with multi-vendor devices, cloud expertise for IaaS/PaaS, and strong collaboration across international teams; English proficiency is essential.

Competenze

• Experience in network design, administration and operations.
• Knowledge of networking standards and best practices.
• Hands-on with switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers.
• Multi-vendor experience (Cisco, HPE Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, NetScaler).
• Cloud design and optimization for IaaS and PaaS.
• Project management and capacity planning.
• MS Office products.
• English professional working proficiency.

Mansioni

• Implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing communication networks.
• Ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance.
• Deploy networking environment by defining, implementing, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Secure network systems by establishing and monitoring access.
• Support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
• Support and administration of Load-balancing services.
• Configuration of routing and switching equipment.
• Support to NOC and on-site engineers.
• Troubleshooting and faults finding if issues occur.
