Zentiva in Milano is seeking a Category Leader – IT who will drive sourcing across SaaS, hardware, software and services, partnering with IT, Digital, Finance and Compliance. You will design and execute category strategies, lead RFIs/RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to enable cybersecurity, cost efficiency and business continuity.

The role requires strong IT procurement expertise, global supplier management, and leadership of cross-functional teams in a regulated

Competenze

Master’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Pharmacy or related discipline.
Typically, 3-6 years of Procurement experience with hands-on responsibility for sourcing, supplier management and contract administration in Indirect procurement.
Experience in pharma or regulated manufacturing is an advantage
Advanced negotiation, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills
Strong ability to run sourcing events, assess bids, and ensure smooth supplier onboarding and contracting
Proven operational experience with P2P/S2C processes and systems, supplier onboarding and performance tracking
Practical exposure to working with Quality/Regulatory requirements in purchasing contexts
Proficient at managing supplier relationships operationally, tracking KPIs, and coordinating corrective actions
Strong expertise in IT category strategy, SRM, and complex negotiations
Solid understanding of IT cost structures, licensing models, and service delivery
Proven track record in managing global suppliers and delivering complex procurement projects.
Understanding of contractual, legal, compliance, and security aspects in IT procurement
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional and international environments
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Lead IT category strategy & SRM initiatives and drive value creation.
Execute category plans and lead RFIs/RFPs, bid and supplier evaluations.
Conduct commercial evaluations, pricing analysis, and total cost of ownership.
Ensure structured supplier selection processes and contract alignment.
Act as procurement partner across IT, Digital, Finance, Legal and Compliance.
Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance with KPIs, and mitigate risks.
Support IT governance, budget alignment, and cost-control measures.
