Job summary

ABB is seeking a Global IS Governance Assurance and Advisory Specialist to shape how governance is executed across our global organization. You will ensure frameworks are implemented, adopted, and continuously improved, balancing assurance with advisory work.

You will engage senior stakeholders, drive governance initiatives, and enable collaboration that translates governance into real business value within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT/IS governance, compliance, risk management.
• Effective stakeholder management across functions, cultures and levels.
• Organizational skills and meticulous approach for governance implementation.
• Ability to own and deliver with initiative, without close supervision.
• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and continuously improve IS governance frameworks, policies, and standards to align IT strategy with business goals.
• Monitor implementation of governance, compliance, and risk frameworks; coordinate audits and remediation of findings.
• Advise senior leaders and stakeholders on governance matters and foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and enhance governance processes and ensure value delivery.
