TAPI in Italy is seeking a Chief Procurement Officer to lead our end-to-end global procurement organization across direct and indirect spend in the API, CDMO and life sciences space.

Reporting to the COO, you will define a transformative strategy, drive cost optimization, strengthen supply resilience, and build a high-performing global team across regions. This role demands a proven track record of large-scale procurement programs and regulatory acumen.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, finance, operations, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive procurement leadership experience in global organizations.
• Experience in API, CDMO, specialty chemicals, or life sciences sectors.
• Proven track record delivering transformation and significant cost savings.
• Experience leading direct and indirect procurement and supplier management.
• Strong commercial acumen, regulatory understanding, and supply continuity.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the global procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end procurement organization across direct and indirect spend.
• Drive procurement transformation, operating models, and governance.
• Develop category strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and drive value.
• Ensure supply continuity, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.
• Lead a global team of ~70 professionals and partner with cross-functional leaders.
• Drive data-driven decision making, automation, and cost optimization.
