We are seeking a Global Head of Compensation to lead and evolve our global compensation framework. Responsibilities include managing the grading methodology, overseeing the Annual Salary Review process within Workday, establishing and maintaining salary ranges, and managing external salary benchmarking data submissions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in compensation strategy, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset. The role is flexible within Europe, with location to be determined in later stages.

How You Will Make An Impact

Grading Methodology Ownership

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of a scalable job grading methodology based on the Mercer Job Catalog.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational structure, career architecture, and external market practices.

Annual Salary Review Process

  • Lead the execution of the Annual Salary Review cycle within Workday, including planning, system configuration, execution, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Finance to ensure budget adherence and policy compliance.

Salary Range Management

  • Develop and maintain salary structures by job family, level, and location.
  • Conduct regular reviews for internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Provide data-driven insights and reporting on compensation effectiveness.

Benchmarking & Market Intelligence

  • Manage submission of compensation data to external benchmarking providers.
  • Analyze market trends and survey results to inform strategy and decisions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of compensation professionals.
  • Advise senior leadership, HR, and Finance on compensation and grading matters.
  • Partner with leadership to align compensation with business goals.
  • Provide training on compensation frameworks, policies, and tools.

Your Background

Required

A confident and adaptable professional with strong relationship-building skills across all levels. Good communication skills and an ability to handle complex, detailed work are essential. Main skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years in compensation management and grading, preferably in a global industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday compensation modules.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with business acumen.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
