Job summary

Tether is seeking a Head of Financial Infrastructure Expansion to develop strategic solutions for banks, fintechs, payment firms, telcos, and large enterprises globally. The role bridges external partners with Tether's product teams to craft tailored infrastructure solutions across stablecoins, wallets, tokenization, and payments.

The ideal candidate brings deep financial knowledge, strong commercial sense, and a track record of closing high-value partnerships while scaling teams and processes

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience across banking, payments, fintech, financial infrastructure, or technology business development.
• Strong understanding of payments, digital assets, wallets, tokenization, settlement, and financial infrastructure.
• Proven ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into multi-product solutions.
• Tangible experience personally originating, structuring, and closing large strategic partnerships.
• Strong relationships with senior decision-makers across banks, financial institutions, fintechs, telcos, and large enterprises.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong ability to work across product, technical, commercial, legal, and regulatory teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and experience building and managing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic opportunities with banks, fintechs, payment companies, telcos, financial institutions, retailers and large enterprises globally.
• Design tailored solutions leveraging the broader Tether ecosystem.
• Combine capabilities across stablecoins, wallets, tokenization, payments, and other products into compelling commercial propositions.
• Originate, structure, negotiate, and close high-value strategic partnerships and deployments.
• Nurture relationships with CEOs, CFOs, CTOs and other senior stakeholders.
• Bridge between customers, external implementation partners and internal product/business teams.
• Coordinate multi-product projects and translate market needs into actionable opportunities.
• Own projects from engagement through execution and scale, tracking KPIs.
