Werfen is seeking a Finance Manager for a multi-year expatriate assignment, starting with onboarding in Milan, Italy. The role involves leading financial oversight for the affiliate, supporting the General Manager and business areas, and progressing to a global finance leadership position.

The candidate will gain broad exposure across accounting, planning, and strategic analysis within a global diagnostics leader.

Formación

Bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
M&A experience is a must, including opportunity identification, financial analysis, due diligence, agreement negotiation, and financial synergies.
Experience in finance with multinational companies, including consolidation work.
Extensive knowledge of advanced accounting and financial reporting concepts, principles, and practices.
Experience in financial modelling and analysis.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP will be a plus.
Proficiency in written and spoken English; other language skills desired.

Responsabilidades

Oversee preparation of the Financial Statements and monthly corporate reporting.
Coordinate day-to-day financial department operations and cash-flow.
Manage financial audits and propose improvements to procedures.
Lead implementation of corporate procedures in the affiliate.
Establish internal controls and safeguards; ensure tax compliance and optimization.
Supervise payroll processing and personnel records.
