Job summary
Hitachi seeks a seasoned procurement leader to shape and execute global FM sourcing, balancing cost, reliability and sustainability across a multinational footprint. You will collaborate with Real Estate, Facility Management, HSE, Finance and Legal to optimize supplier performance and drive value through standardization and continuous improvement.
This strategic, cross-functional role anchors our facilities capability on a data-driven foundation, with a focus on AI, IoT, and CAFM/CMMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of strategic sourcing or category management experience.
- Proven experience with facility service categories across multiple sites/countries.
- Strong commercial, analytical, project management and stakeholder leadership skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global category strategy for hard and soft FM categories.
- Lead procurement for Integrated Facility Management (IFM) services across multiple countries.
- Analyze spend, demand, markets, costs, risks, and FM/IFM technologies.
- Manage complex multi-country sourcing from market engagement through contracting and implementation.
- Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and total cost of ownership improvements.
