Job summary

Hitachi is seeking a senior sourcing leader to shape global facility services procurement across a multinational footprint. You will balance cost, reliability and sustainability, collaborating with Real Estate, Facility Management, HSE, Finance and Legal to optimize service delivery and supplier performance.

You will drive multi-country sourcing, standardization and continuous improvement, anchoring our facilities capability on a data-driven foundation. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 8 years of strategic sourcing or category management experience.
• Proven experience with facility service categories across multiple sites/countries.
• Strong understanding of hard and soft FM services and supplier delivery structures.
• Track record in global category strategy, tendering, contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing/energy environments.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global category strategy for hard and soft FM categories.
• Lead procurement for Integrated Facility Management (IFM) services across multiple countries.
• Analyze spend, demand, markets, costs, risks, and FM/IFM technologies.
• Manage complex multi-country sourcing from market engagement through contracting and implementation.
• Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Oversee supplier performance with scorecards, QBRs, and improvement plans.
• Establish commercial models, scopes of work, KPIs, SLAs and continuous-improvement commitments.
• Promote innovation using AI, IoT, CAFM/CMMS, energy management and analytics.
