Tether Ltd. is seeking a Head of Global Events & Travel to shape strategy, governance, and execution across flagship events, internal meetings, and corporate travel for a global audience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading corporate events and managed travel programs, including global scope.
• Proven track record running internal meetings and high-impact client-facing events.
• Experience directing large conferences (5,000+ attendees) end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience transforming travel programs (TMCs, policies, migrations).
• Strong budget ownership, forecasting, and vendor negotiations.

Responsabilités

• Function Leadership: Build and lead the events/travel team and set cadence across agencies and vendors.
• Flagship, VIP & client-facing events: Manage budgets, venue selection, production, and attendee experience for major conferences and receptions.
• Internal Meetings & Offsites: Standardize playbooks for corporate meetings and regional leadership offsites.
• Travel Operating Model Transition: Implement global travel model with multi-region TMCs, policy, and expense framework.
• Corporate Travel Oversight: Manage global travel strategy, master agreements, and executive travel support through TMCs.
• Budget Accountability & Resource Stewardship: Own consolidated budgets and ROI for client events and travel.
• Financial Governance & Client Billing: Oversee budgets, forecasts, invoices, and VAT/GST handling.
• Strategic Suppliers & Partnerships: Lead RFPs with airlines, hotels, venues, and platforms.
• Policy, Duty of Care & Risk Management: Define traveler safety, privacy, and incident escalation.
• Cross-Functional & Client Partnership: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on revenue targets.
