Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Drive Global Sales: Lead digital sales efforts for Power and Energy Management, achieving volume, revenue, and profitability targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and nurture a robust sales pipeline for both immediate growth and long-term sustainability.
  • Customer Engagement: Establish strong relationships with customers, ensuring clear communication of ABB’s solution benefits and value propositions.
  • Sales Support & Enablement: Proactively support Local Division sales teams, enhancing their knowledge and empowering them to present solutions effectively.
  • Opportunity Management: Track and supervise customer opportunities, guiding the bid preparation process to ensure technical and commercial excellence.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Align with Local Divisions, Product Management, and Digital Units to drive effective sale strategies and secure market opportunities.
  • Market Insights & Innovation: Identify new market trends and customer needs, feeding insights back to Product Management for solution enhancement.
  • Project Support: Occasionally assist delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and positive customer outcomes.

Qualifications For The Role

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant technical field.
  • Proven relevant experience in technical sales and/or pre-sales support of relevant digital solutions – Power and Energy Management.
  • Previous engineering experience in the digital space is considered a plus.
  • Experience in relevant industries – Upstream, Midstream, Refining, Chem, Power Generation, Renewables is considered an advantage.
  • Experience/exposure to recent developments in the Sustainability domain – Green/Blue Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, Carbon Capture, Transportation and Storage, Sustainable fuels production, etc.
  • Ability to understand financials, pricing, margin and risk management.
  • Strong customer and business focus, proactivity, easiness of communication with wide-spread teams’ members of different cultures.
  • Experience in supporting opportunity tracking and sales pipeline management
