Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to autonomously manage certification projects in the Industrial Electronic Control segment, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality for clients. You will work in an international team and travel to client sites as needed, promoting UL services and addressing technical issues.

The role requires a university degree in electronics or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of UL standards and conformity.

Qualifications

• University degree plus four years related work experience.
• Detailed knowledge of technical vocabulary in the relevant discipline.
• Working knowledge of conformity standards in area of expertise.
• Knowledge of UL 61800-5-1, UL 61010-1, UL 61010-2-201 and UL 61010-2-030 preferred; CB Scheme experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, plan investigations, and determine cost, time, and sample needs.
• Conduct or witness tests at client sites as needed.
• Communicate with clients to explain UL procedures and project status.
• Coordinate laboratory activities and manage technicians and staff.
• Prepare data sheets, instructions, and project reports for clients.
• Integrate continuous improvement concepts into project execution.
