A leading company in technology is seeking a Global Account Manager to manage sales to a major client. This strategic role focuses on driving revenue growth through consultative selling and strong relationship management, working closely with C-level executives and cross-functional teams to implement account strategies.
The VMware Global Account Program serves approximately 100 of VMware’s largest customers. Managed by a team of experienced Global Account Managers (GAM), the program aims to establish a significant VMware footprint in influential corporations worldwide. Our sales approach focuses on aligning with our customers' primary business initiatives and demonstrating our value in terms of their business benefits. Our Value Selling strategy involves investing time, talent, and technology from VMware and our partners to transform our customers' businesses for their benefit. This is achieved through a dedicated team of account management, marketing, engineering, and executive engagement.
The Global Account Manager will primarily manage VMware sales to Unicredit within the VMware portfolio. Responsibilities include creating and executing strategic account plans, achieving goals, and driving revenue growth. The GAM adopts a consultative selling approach, aiming to become a trusted advisor and serve as the primary executive contact for VMware at the customer. The role involves leading account strategy, managing sales and partner resources, and expanding VMware’s share within the account.
