Job Description:

What You Will Experience in This Position:

As a Global Account Manager, you will maintain & strengthen the sales liaison between nVent HOFFMAN and assigned key accounts. The role involves global travel, so flexibility is an important aspect to consider.

  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and ensure their business needs are met
  • Coordinate end-customer calls and visits to drive product and system sales
  • Negotiate contracts and support established price strategies
  • Understand customer requirements and develop appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to set engagement and growth strategies
  • Identify prospects and implement account penetration strategies
  • Provide regular updates on new business opportunities and sales pipeline
  • Stay informed about industry relationships, partnerships, and competitor activities
  • Attend industry events to develop a network with key players
  • Act as a liaison between the field and support functions
  • Use project mining tools to identify and assess potential new customers

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a technical field such as Engineering
  • Ideally 7+ years of experience, with exposure to electrical/automation environment as a plus
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office package
  • Excellent listening skills and professional interpersonal skills
  • You are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess a high energy!
  • Valid driver's license.
