Job Opportunity: Global Account Manager

Job Purpose

The primary responsibility of this role is to proactively develop business strategies across regions to drive profitable growth. This includes increasing sales penetration and demand creation, resulting in market share gains globally. Effective communication skills are essential for negotiating with customers, demonstrating Future's value, and positioning our full capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement global strategies and site-specific tactics in collaboration with regional teams to increase revenue and profit margins.
  2. Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges; formulate regional and branch strategies for growth. Build relationships with senior management through regular visits.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition, including Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives, to enhance service capabilities.
  4. Work with management to set, monitor, and achieve sales and margin budgets at each site to outperform industry and company growth projections.
  5. Drive key supplier initiatives at each customer site to meet corporate commitments.
  6. Provide high-level customer service, responding promptly to quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery inquiries.
  7. Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven sales success in electronics distribution over the past five years; degree educated, preferably with a technical or business background.
  • Understanding of technical design processes, with a track record of achieving design wins.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and focused on results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
