JOB PURPOSE

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions to drive profitable growth while increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. Effective communication skills are essential to negotiate the company offering to customers, position Future’s value add, and demonstrate the company’s full capabilities.

What the roles involve:

  1. Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel in each geographical region to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges; formulate strategies with regional and branch teams to foster growth. Build relationships with customer senior management through regular visits.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition by providing customers with our Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives, such as the Business Partner Programme, to enhance service capabilities.
  4. Work with management to set, implement, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally, aiming to increase market share at each location and outperform industry and growth projections.
  5. Drive key supplier initiatives at each customer site to ensure commitments are met.
  6. Provide high-level customer service by responding promptly to quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.

Do you have:

  • Proven sales track record within the company or other electronic distribution businesses over the past five years; educated to degree level, preferably with a technical or business background.
  • Understanding of technical teams by achieving a designated number of designs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate, able to work under pressure, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
