JOB PURPOSE

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions which will drive profitable growth whilst increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. Effective communication skills are essential to negotiate the company’s offerings to customers, demonstrate Future’s value, and quote on business opportunities.

What the roles involves:

  1. Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in collaboration with regional personnel to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  2. Understand customer needs and challenges; formulate regional strategies; build relationships with senior management through regular visits.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition, including Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives, to enhance service capabilities.
  4. Work with management to set and monitor sales and margin budgets globally, aiming to increase market share and outperform industry growth.
  5. Drive supplier initiatives to meet corporate commitments.
  6. Provide high-level customer service, responding to quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.

Do you have:

  • Proven sales success within the last five years in electronic distribution; educated to degree level, preferably with a technical or business background.
  • Understanding of technical design processes, with a track record of achieving design wins.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • High organization and attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and achieve results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
