JOB PURPOSE

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions which will drive profitable growth while increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. Effective communication skills are essential to negotiate the company's offerings to customers, enabling the position of Future’s value add and quoting on business, demonstrating the company’s full capabilities.

What the roles involves:
  1. Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel in each geographical region to drive top-line revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges; help formulate regional and branch strategies to promote growth. Build relationships with customer senior management through regular visits.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition by providing customers with our Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives, such as the Business Partner Programme, to enhance service capabilities at all customer sites.
  4. Work with branch and regional management to set, implement, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally by site, aiming to increase market share and outperform industry and company growth projections.
  5. Drive key supplier initiatives outlined by marketing at each customer site to meet corporate supplier commitments.
  6. Provide high-level customer service by responding promptly to quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.
Do you have:
  • Proven sales track record within the company or other electronic distribution businesses for the past five years. Education to degree level, preferably with a technical or business focus.
  • Understanding of technical teams with a history of achieving design integrations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate, able to work under pressure, and detail-oriented. Focused on results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
