Job Purpose

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions which will drive profitable growth while increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. Effective communication skills are essential to negotiate the company's offerings to customers, position Future’s value add, and demonstrate the company’s full capabilities.

What the role involves:
  1. Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in conjunction with regional personnel to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  2. Understand customer needs and challenges; formulate regional and branch strategies to foster growth. Build relationships with senior management through visits.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition with Value-Added Solutions and initiatives like the Business Partner Programme to enhance service capabilities.
  4. Work with management to set and monitor sales and margin budgets by site to outperform industry and company growth projections.
  5. Drive supplier initiatives to meet corporate commitments.
  6. Provide high-level customer service regarding quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engage Field Application Engineering to capitalize on sell opportunities.

Do you have:

  • Proven sales success within electronics distribution over the past five years, with a degree in a technical or business field.
  • Understanding of technical design processes and achievement of design wins.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
