Job Purpose

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions, driving profitable growth and increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation performance, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. Effective communication skills are essential to negotiate the company’s offerings with customers, demonstrate Future’s value, and quote on business opportunities.

What the role involves:
  1. Developing global strategies and implementing site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel in each geographical region to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  2. Understanding customer needs and challenges, formulating regional strategies, and building relationships with senior management through regular visits.
  3. Presenting Future’s value proposition with our Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives to enhance service capabilities.
  4. Working with management to set and monitor sales and margin budgets, increasing market share at each location.
  5. Driving key supplier initiatives to meet corporate commitments.
  6. Providing high-level customer service regarding quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engaging the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.
Do you have:
  • Commercial acumen and resilience with a proven sales record in electronic distribution over the past five years. Degree educated, preferably with a technical or business background.
  • Understanding of technical teams, with a track record of achieving design wins.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate, able to work under pressure, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
